‘CYCLE HERITAGE QUIZ 2013- Hyderabad’ 

Hyderabad, 12th July, 2013: Cycle Pure Agarbathies, India’s largest incense stick brand, will be introducing Cycle Heritage Quiz, the only quiz in the country that focuses solely on the Heritage of India. The Cycle Heritage Quiz competition will be held on 3rd August, 2013 at Sri Satya Sai Nigamam Auditorium. Mr. Pradeep, well known Telugu TV Actor, will be the Quiz Master. The Competition is open to all inspired students (Class 8th to Class 10th) from schools in the city. The last date for schools to register for the competition is July 20th. Cycle Heritage Quiz as a concept was initiated in 2011 with an objective of encouraging young minds to learn about our Country’s rich art forms, culture, tradition and history. The initiative is an attempt by NR Group to play an active part in preserving India’s tradition and heritage. The first edition of the quiz was held in Kolkata in 2011, after a overwhelming success, two more cities were added in 2012. This year Cycle heritage quiz will be conducted in Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Bangalore, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad. Apart from the Quiz, Cycle Pure Agarbathies has organized several interesting campaigns that have benefited the society in a large way. Attempts at reviving traditional art forms like Dhak (drums played during Durga puja )through a competition called Rhythm Dhaker Ladai in West Bengal and  Sheri Garbha in Gujarat have been hugely successful with a great number of youngsters learning more about these art forms, Cycle Scholarship supports the cause of education in schools of Hyderabad.

Hyderabad is known for its cultural values, long heritage and deep rooted traditions. By bringing the contest to Hyderabad, Cycle Pure Agarbathies aims to help uphold tradition and augment the values of youngsters in the city. The objective of the competition is to connect to a younger audience in a country which is rapidly becoming younger. Through the Cycle Heritage Quiz, Cycle aims to restore the countries depleting art, values and culture. The quiz will have questions on several themes like Heritage monuments, epics, Mythology, Origin of Festivals and Traditions and more. The Quiz is powered by Heritage Agarbathies.
