Cycle Pure Agabathies celebrates Festival of Dance — Concludes “Rhythm Ta Ta Thai Thai 2014” amongst great fanfare

Rhythm Dance Festival witnesses spellbinding performances by eminent dancers Molly Roy, Anita Mallick and Nandini Ghosal

22nd January, 2014: With the vision to inspire young girls towards Indian music and dance, Cycle Pure Agarbathies, the largest manufacturers and marketers of Agarbathies in India, returns with the sixth edition of “Rhythm Ta Ta Thai Thai (R4T) 2014 — Praner Chhande Nacho Anonde” a Unique Indian Dance Competition, for girls of North Bengal.

 Today, at Dinabandhu Mancha (Tathya Kendra) Siliguri, Cycle Pure Agarbathies, organized the Rhythm Dance Festival & Prize Distribution Ceremony to felicitate the winners of Rhythm Ta Ta Thai Thai (R4T) 2014 in presence of eminent guests and judges panel including Tabla Maestro, Pt. Mallar Ghosh; Renowned Classical Dancer, Molly Roy; Distinguished Bharat Natyam Exponent, Anita Mallick and Noted Odissi Danseuse, Nandini Ghosal. On the occasion, Veteran Dancer, Swapna Roy was felicitated with Rhythm Nritya Sanman 2014 for her great contribution in the field of Indian Classical Dance.

 The Rhythm Dance Festival witnessed mesmerising dance performances by the winners of the competition and the judges Molly Roy, Anita Mallick and Nandini Ghosal as well.

 “The vision behind this event is to create an ambience which nurtures young talents to co-create and innovate dance as an original form of art with its rhythm, imagination and expression. The event presents a platform to exhibit hidden prowess of girls across North Bengal,” expressed Mr. Arjun Ranga, Managing Partner, NR Group.

 “Cycle Pure Agarbathies is a socially responsible organisation and believes in preserving India’s art and culture; Rhythm Ta Ta Thai Thai is yet another initiative to reiterate our responsibility towards the society by promoting the cause of dance in North Bengal”,  he added.

 Young girls of age groups 4 years and above from different cities in North Bengal – Jalpaiguri, Cochbehar, Alipurduar, Maldah, Raiganj and Balurghat participated in the competition.
