Mysuru Warrior Announces Cause Partners for KPL 2016 powered by Cycle Pure Agarbathies
Mysuru, August 24, 2016: Today Mysuru Warriors, the KPL team owned by NR Group, announced Usha Kiran Eye Hospital, Deutsche Cleft Kinderhlife and Kalisu Life as their Cause partners for the 5th edition of Karbonn Smart KPL 2016 powered by Cycle Pure Agarbathies. The team will be donating for every boundary scored and wicket taken by the Mysuru Warriors to the cause partners. The initiative taken by the team is to carry forward NR Groups commitment and passion to give back to the society.
The money received through this initiative will be divided equally among all the Cause partners and put in use for social cause. The Deutsche Cleft Kinderhilfe, an international NGO will be using the amount for the corrective surgery of children with cleft lip. Kalisu Foundation will use the money for building libraries in government schools and the Usha Kiran Eye Hospital has plans to treat birth disabilities in children like squint eyes. The support extended by Mysuru Warriors to these organisations, will go a long way towards furthering their cause.
Speaking about the initiative Mr. Arjun Ranga, Owner, Mysuru Warriors and Managing Director, Cycle Pure Agarbathies, said, “The association with these three organizations brings immense pleasure to our team, it induces a sense of fulfillment. This initiative taken by Mysuru Warriors will motivate the team to give a better performance in the upcoming KPL tournament. This collaboration is an attempt from our end to make a difference in the lives of children.”
Last year, Mysuru Warriors team contributed Rs. 1 lakh to Deutsche Cleft Kinderhilfe, an international NGO that offers comprehensive treatment to children with cleft lip and palate across Mysuru. The aid helped Deutsche Cleft Kinderhilfe to ensure corrective surgery for 7 cleft lip and palate affected children in the city. Mysuru Warriors contributed Rs. 1,20,000/- to Kalisu Foundation to build 2 libraries in Sharadavilas Government Schools and Kuvempunagar Government School. The objective is to extend support towards providing high quality education to children studying in government schools.
An ardent believer of sustainable and holistic growth, NR Group has initiated many a causes for the betterment of the society.
