Mysuru Warriors celebrates Independence Day with kalisu foundation
~ Visits Ranga Rao Memorial School for Disabled~
Mysore, August 15, 2015: Spreading the spirit of Independence Day, Mysuru Warriors, Mysore’s very own KPL team, owned by NR Group, the makers of Cycle Pure Agarbathies today celebrated Independence Day with the students of Kalisu Foundation at Kumbara Koppal Government School, Mysore. The celebrations witnessed well- known cricketers spending quality time with the children and distributing sports kit encouraging holistic development.
The occasion was also marked by Mysuru Warriors extending its support towards the empowerment initiatives of Kalisu Foundation. Kalisu foundation is a volunteer driven organization that works towards providing high quality education to children studying in government schools. As part of the association, every wicket Mysuru Warriors takes will be celebrated by donating Rs. 1000 towards Kalisu Foundation. The team will also be contributing extensively towards improving knowledge access in government schools in Mysore. They will be building libraries across 2 government schools in Mysore. Further the team also hoisted the National Flag at the Ranga Rao Memorial School for Disabled, the only residential school for visually challenged girls in the state.
Speaking on initiative, Mr. Arjun Ranga, Managing Director, Cycle Pure Agarbathies said, “Holistic development is a way of life for us at NR. In fact, a significant part of the gains have been spent generously on socially relevant causes.”
