Channel Development Executive

Job Description

The CDE will work closely with the S&M team & NMCD to implement Channel and Market level initiates. Wins, maintains, and expands relationships with assigned channel partners based on geography, channel or market. The CDE is responsible for maintaining & expansion of Rural distribution network. Has to measure, check profitability & ROWC with NMCD. Responsible for analysing data, designing frameworks and extracting meaningful inferences/ insights/ trends which is accurate and can be relied upon to a high level of confidence, for effective and efficient decision making.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with National Manager Channel Development and AVP – Sales and Market Development
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key channel partner including SS/ADs and Sub-Distributors.
  • Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including service and management support, to meet partner performance objectives & expectations.
  • Periodic track, support & local review on Projects with State/Area Heads and Marketing Executives on updates basis timeline, need to have Project based time tracker to keep pace and progress.
  • Ramp up the Super Stockist operation basis states & Cost modeling for Distributor & AD/SS assessment for Pan India.
  • Scout & Ensure implementation of Alternate Channel/ Omni Channel/Third Party Partners on projects to increase Rural Reach and Revenue.
  • Implement Distribution and market level Sales & Market Development initiatives basis Geography.
  • Distributor Profiling - Club distributors/selling arrangements basis business bracket and Geography to monitor performance with specific inputs with DMS & SD Team.
  • Check on Loyalty Program, New Product Launch and other distribution health measures.
  • Proficient in Data analysis and insights. Derive and communicate the key analytics and trends/ reports from the different ongoing projects to the functional teams.
  • Vendor management

Experience

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • A Certificate in any of the analytics tools is a plus.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science or Statistics
  • MBA/PGDBM/PGDM
